Looking for an experienced General Manager to oversee a Pilates Studio in inner-west Sydney.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Maintain upkeep of the studio including cleanliness, laundry, lost and found
- Be involved with recruitment and staff on-boarding process
- Manage Sales calls, Retention calls, complaints and escalations
- Take pride in the studio and ensure your team of instructors follows your lead
- Ability to work independently
- Class scheduling and communication with the instructors
- Social media management
- Management of booking system software including membership suspensions, troubleshooting and new client engagement
- Prepare and coordinate material for Instructor calls/training
- Assist in proactive strategies in relation to marketing, training and staff development
- Ability to lead and manage a team efficiently and effectively
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Building a great rapport with potential customers and supporting members
- Providing exceptionally high-quality customer service to new and existing customers
- Management of retail stock & display
- A background in practicing Pilates is desired but not essential however, a willingness to learn and expand Pilates knowledge would be required.
- Be the face of the Studio, encouraging a welcoming and friendly culture
- High sense of integrity, honesty and self-motivation
- Passion for the fitness industry and helping get people started towards a healthier lifestyle
- Sales and member retention experience is preferred
- Industry management experience is essential
- Energetic with exceptional customer service and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Experience in building and managing client relationships
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills. Able to work autonomously and proactively take charge of day-to-day activities
- High attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and polished look at all times
- Sense of humour is a must You must be down-to-earth and highly approachable

**COMPENSATION & BENEFITS**:

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Annual bonus
