**About the School and the Role**

Tintern Grammar is seeking to appoint a Sport Centre Assistant to work within the school. The successful applicant will report to the Head of Sport**_ _**and be an integral member of the Sports Department.

**About the Role**

Tintern Grammar currently have a vacancy for a Sports Centre Assistant, to provide administration support to the Sports Department and provide sports coaching assistance to students. The Sports Centre Assistant will also assist in the delivery of Sport programs.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service, flexibility and a high degree of initiative. Strong communication and computer skills (Microsoft Office) are essential. The successful applicant will be passionate about engaging both young boys and girls.

**About You**

You will be able to demonstrate excellence and experience in this area. You will demonstrate:

- Care and connectedness with students
- You must have relevant qualifications as outlined in the position description
- WWCC or VIT registration
- Passion for sports and student coaching
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to encourage and motivate students
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- You will have a desire to work collaboratively with other staff and actively engage in the broader life of the School.
