APG Workforce is currently seeking experienced Environmental Technical Officer for a 6-Month contract within a Parramatta Government Sector.

**About our Client**:
**NABERS** is a national rating system that measures the environmental performance of Australian buildings and tenancies. NABERS measures the energy efficiency, water usage, waste management and indoor environment quality of a building or tenancy and its impact on the environment. It does this by using measured and verified performance information, such as utility bills, and converting them into an easy-to-understand star rating scale from one to six stars.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage the operations and processes of the NABERS to assist building owners, managers and tenants to rate the environmental performance of their facilities.
- Undertake level 1 rating audits, maintain and contribute to the development, revision and amendment of the NABERS rules, rulings, processes and procedures.
- Project manage an individual NABERS tool to maintain its relevance in the market sector, including reviewing and monitoring new technology and market trends, conducting risk assessments, implementing mitigation measures and developing stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of projects to deliver outcomes which are successful and timely.
- Conduct necessary research and analysis in support of changes to the tools and seek approval from the National Steering Committee.
- Engage with external stakeholders, such as assessors and the technical working groups, present technical information and canvas stakeholder feedback in a constructive and informative way.
