**Environmental Health Officer** to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

**About The Role**
As an Environmental Health Officer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding public health and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting regular inspections of premises to assess and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Developing and delivering educational programs to raise awareness about environmental health issues and promote responsible practices within the community.
- Undertake proactive surveillance of commercial establishments and undertake environmental auditing.
- *Coordinator position available for experienced Environmental Health Officers in Sydney’s South West - salary up to $140,000 + super._

**About You**
You are a highly motivated and driven individual with demonstrated experience in a range of environmental health related inspections and investigations to ensure regulatory compliance that is driven by a desire to safeguard the local community and work cooperatively with businesses and the public.

In addition, you will also have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of environmental health regulations and standards
- Ability to work independently and part of a team.
