Your role includes leading preparation of media releases, responses and hot issue briefs, and managing ministerial and executive correspondence, briefing materials and other communications for QRA.
- Plan, research, draft and deliver accurate, insightful, and polished media materials and content, briefs, publications, presentations, hot issues briefs, reporting and correspondence, ensuring that communication conveys QRA's position with clarity and impact.
- Provide high level advice to the Media Manager and the Director Media and Communications on the organisation's response to emerging issues relevant to QRA's operations.
- Work with the Manager, Media and Director Media and Communications to ensure that effective engagement and communication is maintained internally, and between QRA and its key external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with stakeholders, particularly local and state government employees, ministerial and media stakeholders.
- Manage the monitoring of online information sources and media coverage to proactively identify issues of relevance to QRA's operations and interests, bringing opportunities and risks to the attention of relevant internal parties.
- This role may require some outside of hours work and may be required to travel, across Queensland and interstate.
