**ABOUT THE COMPANY.**

Your Council is based in Eastern Sydney. Reporting to the Manager Governance & Risk, this position provides internal and external support to risk related activities.

**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

Initially a 6 month contract, with the view to go permanent. As the Coordinator Risk Management, you will coordinate Council's enterprise risk management framework demonstrating previous experience in strategic risk management advice, insurance portfolio oversight, internal auditing and more.

**DUTIES.**
- Provide advice to Council business units regarding risk management services
- Improve Council's risk management framework
- Undertake risk assessments and provide internal/external support
- Develop and deliver training & undertake reviews for Council processes

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**.
- Local Council experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Significant experience in enterprise risk management
- Proven experience in developing and implementing business continuity strategies
- High level of maturity and communication skills
