Your Role

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer you will support the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Function (2nd Line of Defence) to ensure the successful execution and management of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) across the region. This role supports the in-country risk functions and the business with all manner of risk identification, risk assessment, committee and Board reporting, 2nd line controls assurance activities, and meeting Chubb internal requirements.

**Your Responsibilities**:
Ensure implementation and embedding of the risk management framework across the APAC region.

Partner with the business and in-country risk functions to educate and assist them to identify, assess, and manage their risk profiles in supporting the achievement of their strategic objectives.

Responsible for management of the ERM system for the region and provide support to the countries in maintenance of their risk registers, rollout of system changes, and providing training as required.

Ensure implementation and embedding of the Chubb ERM standards across the region and assess compliance to the standards on an annual basis.

Stay up to date with new and upcoming regulatory requirements across the region and provide support to ensure compliance and ensuring that existing global/ regional processes and resources are leveraged effectively. Supporting countries in meeting existing regulatory requirements (e.g., ICAAP/ ORSA)

Support the Australia & New Zealand risk function with quarterly risk owner meetings, 2nd Line controls testing, APRA submissions, and any other tasks, as required.

Support the CRO in preparing for various meetings, including sending out calendar invites, setting the agenda, collating minutes and actions, and follow up, as required.

Responsible for ERM training across the region.

Coordinate and manage all ORSA and ICAAP requirements for the APAC region including liaison and alignment with the US ERM team.

Responsible for the implementation of all relevant Group ERM initiatives across APAC operations.

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
Tertiary qualifications desirable.

Minimum 3 years risk management, compliance, accounting or audting background with experience in the Australian insurance, banking or financial services industry, desirable.

An understanding of Risk Management principles

Exceptional oral and written communication, analytical, presentation and facilitation skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Ability to effectively manage change.
