Corporate Technology Services (CTS) is a key business area of Corporate Enterprise Solutions with responsibility for the integrated Workforce Management rostering and SAP payroll system ensuring that both remain in full vendor support, and that the resultant enhanced systems can be leveraged to achieve direct business value through improved workforce management capability and practices.

SAP Business Support Unit, CTS, also has responsibility for supporting the S/4HANA solution.

**Purpose of the Role**:
Reporting to the Manager WFM Rostering Support, the role of the Workbrain Functional Expert is to provide expert system support to business users and help triage incidents raised as we roll out the WFM rostering solution to Nursing and Midwifery cohorts within the Health and Hospital Services.

**Duties of the Role**:
Within that context, the key responsibilities of this role are:

- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Analyse and solve complex system and business problems and provide innovative solutions within the required timeframes.
- Provide expert advice and support in the assessment and review of the QH HR solution and the ability to advise on functional system behaviour.
- Undertake configuration and customisation activities, process design while considering the best fit to the product and business requirements.
- Responsibility for the planning, documenting, estimating, unit testing, and completion of an appropriate system solution to complex business requirements, considering and providing options to management where appropriate.
- Write Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to assist with support, configuration and analysis.
- Assist with and undertake testing activities within the bounds of whole-of-Program solution testing strategies, plans, methodologies and tools.
- Write functional specifications and document user requirements.
- Provide coaching and support (including knowledge and skills transfer) in solution design, configuration, customisation and testing; provide input to custom software development, data migration, training and documentation development and delivery, security profiles and role mapping activities.
- Provide expert advice and complete quality reviews of deliverables in addition to solution maintenance and support activities.

**Experience Required for this role**:

- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in Workbrain with several of the following functional areas:

- HR Rostering functions, HR Awards
- Rostering functions including scheduling, time and attendance
- Award interpretation
- Organisational Establishment Management
- Leave management
- Proven experience in formulating, documenting and implementing functional specifications and process modelling and design, including sound knowledge of current Workforce Management trends, including systems integrations and service-orientated architecture.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and award structures in Queensland Health.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders on complex business requirements and transfer knowledge to team members and clients.
- Proven experience in the support and configuration of the Workbrain solution and Structured Query Language (SQL).
