Principal Technical Consultant

**Your key responsibilities include**:
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary professional team, co-ordinate a technical team in systems administration tasks, mentor and support team members and contribute to deliverables to support the specific scope and objectives of the team by provisioning support to the Queensland Health (QH) Payroll and Rostering Solution which comprises primarily SAP and Workbrain and contains many other technology systems.
- Develop and / or contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of business as usual and project plans and schedules, including the coordination of activities or teams associated with achieving the team objectives.
- Provide leadership in the support, research, analysis, evaluation and integration of technology, infrastructure and/or network connectivity throughout the Corporate Enterprise Solutions (including but not limited to Centre for Information Technology and Communications [CITEC] and eHealth.
- Provide specialist advice to the unit manager, team members and other key stakeholders and develop solutions to technical, functional or business issues as relates to the core QH Payroll and Rostering systems SAP and Workbrain.

- Demonstrated ability to operate as an effective team member who strives to build and sustain positive and effective relationships with team members, other teams and stakeholders through the implementation of team goals, strategies and work plans.
- Demonstrated ability to act professionally at all times and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend and implement security solutions whilst complying with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to build effective client and stakeholder relationships by negotiating client needs and ensuring proposed solutions are properly understood and resolved.
