**About the Role**

As the
**Level Crossing Removal Project** continues to deliver a safer and more efficient train network, the Metro team involved in this large-scale project is expanding to respond to current and future works. The experience gained in this exciting, multi-disciplinary environment will be valuable to building your career in rail construction.

**Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM)** currently has an opportunity for an
**Interface Coordinator** to support the
**Metropolitan Roads Project Alliance** based in Richmond to work with multiple stakeholders and support the delivery of a large-scale level crossing removal projects on Metro's behalf.

The role will be responsible for supporting the governance and stakeholder management towards collaborative resolution of technical and non-technical issues to ensure the best outcomes for the Alliance/Project and Metro.
**This is a permanent full-time opportunity.**:

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Application of the Asset Allocation and Transfer Procedure, with a good understanding of the relevant legislations timelines and deliverables negotiations with stakeholders in the Alliance/Project, across Metro and with various council, regulatory and government representatives
- Develop and present key documents such as the Asset Transfer Register, Ultimate Land Plans and Asset Allocation Drawings relevant to each phase of the project lifecycle. Incorporating variations in scope, planning, design, construction, implementation, change and risk management, completions, TOC development and submissions.
- Support the development, delivery management, and review of progress and procedure against plans to ensure they are on schedule and take effective remedial action as required.
- Support the identification, engagement and maintenance of strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Alliance/Project, externally and within Metro to ensure that beneficial relationships are developed and maintained
- Represent Metro positively in the Alliance, the community and relevant government and industry bodies
- Monitor the delivery of allocated Projects focusing on design, construction, program, asset allocation, land access, completions, and community and stakeholder relations.
- Provide advice to the Asset Allocation Lead by identifying and managing issues and risks including technical design elements, stakeholder relations aspects and prepare a work program to keep internal stakeholders informed regarding precinct issues.
- Support the stakeholder engagement process by working to facilitate outcomes that address stakeholder requirements and issues.

**Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalent
- Experience with reviewing Engineering Drawings and identifying Assets is a must
- Good understanding of Design Drawings together with construction method statements and other documentation
- Experience in constructing & delivering multiple projects - Preferably Victorian Rail Projects
- Strong communication skills & the ability to multi-task multiple projects
- Knowledge of planning and scheduling
