**Role description**:
Due to consistent growth in our team and the demands of our strong and growing pipeline of work across highways and bridges, we are searching for a Drainage Discipline Lead to lead large drainage and flooding teams on major Highways, Rail and Metro infrastructure projects.

**Role accountabilities**:

- Lead a team to deliver drainage designs on major infrastructure projects
- Lead the hydraulic and hydrology analysis for major infrastructure projects
- Provide technical design expertise for drainage and water quality systems, including piped networks and major transverse drainage structures
- Coordinate and verify designs with project teams working across multiple offices including our international design hubs
- Represent Arcadis in client meetings as part of the discipline lead role
- Embracing a strong digital work environment and delivery culture
- Working in collaboration with the design manager and other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design
- Deliver sustainable design solutions and drive continuous improvement in the sustainability of our solutions

**Qualifications & Experience**:

You are a technically capable civil or environmental engineer with extensive experience in drainage design for civil infrastructure projects. You will come to us with:

- Experience in several facets of the project lifecycle from concept design through to detailed design and construction
- Demonstrated self-management; the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Experience working on projects with Transport for NSW or similar interstate authorities like TMR and VicRoads
- Proven skills with drainage software such as 12D and DRAINS
- The desire to work collaboratively in a high performing team environment
- Hydrology and hydraulic modelling experience using Tuflow will be highly regarded
