The team at RPM Tingalpa have everything they need to carry out their work: Car-O-Liner welding, pulling and measuring equipment; speed benches; 2-post lift; floor rack; dust extractors; two Lowbake paint ovens; Glasurit refinishing products; and good, clean working conditions. They work together as a team, and share free BBQ and pizza lunches every month.

The site is easy to access from public transport and the Gateway Motorway (M1), with room for staff parking.

**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Automotive Trades Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Permanent position. Monday to Friday. 7.30am to 4.30pm.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Organize vehicles and parts efficiently to streamline the workflow for the panel and paint shops.
- Assist in the movement of vehicles within the workshop, ensuring they are positioned for optimal accessibility.
- Coordinate with the production team to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Support the quality control area during peak times by performing inspections and assisting with any necessary rework.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

**Does this sound like you?**
- Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Current QLD driver's licence
