Program Delivery is accountable for the successful delivery of business outcomes from a large portfolio of projects. It contains both project delivery accountability as well as portfolio governance responsibilities to manage quality, risk and budget to optimise outcomes from the portfolio as a whole. SAPOL is undertaking a large complex portfolio of work across a range of areas including core infrastructure, business systems and digital transformation initiatives. This full portfolio has been broken into three sub-portfolios to deliver on the business outcomes.

The Mobility Portfolio Change Manager is responsible for leading and managing the establishment and delivery of change management activities across the Mobility Portfolio, IS&T Service, SAPOL, justice departments and authorities. This includes working closely with individuals and teams across SAPOL to prepare and support them with business changes associated with implementation of new or improved systems and technology. The role will work collaboratively with IS&T staff to ensure successful project planning and implementation.

This exciting opportunity emphasizes mentoring, supporting, and uplifting team capability, helping individuals grow and unify program views and ensuring cohesion. This role requires experience managing and leading our motivated teams and will involve delivering strategy and ensuring team execution. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, understanding various change flavours and integrating them into the broader strategy. You will endorse and advance an existing change framework within SA Police and have three direct reports. Strategic thinking will be key.

The Mobility Portfolio is delivering enterprise level transformation across SAPOL, ushering in a new era of next generation policing. The Portfolio Change Manager will be key to driving innovative change across the organisation.

**What you will need to succeed**
- Extensive experience in leading a high performing team, while developing, coordinating and delivering change management initiatives in a complex environment
- Proven expertise in organisational and ICT change management standards, tools, and methods
- Display a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to think laterally and conceptually
- Expert in stakeholder relationships, conflict resolution, and change management
- Efficiently manage workloads and teamwork amidst competing priorities
- Lead stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, and change sustainability for large programs
- Experience developing and implementing communication and training materials
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges
- Be able to excel under broad direction, prioritise, meet deadlines, and adapt effectively
- Demonstrate an ability to handle complex problems with responsibility, judgment, and delegated authority.

**Special Conditions**
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.

**Salary**
ASO8 - $121,107 - $123,822 per annum.
