PERSOLKELLY have partnered with one of the fastest growing local government areas in Australia seeking a **Tehnical Operations Support Officer (Property)** in the Service Delivery Team. If you value a great company culture and work life balance, this might be for you

**Key responsibilies will involve project/maintenance docs and specs, and contactor management.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop project/maintenance briefs and technical support including assisting with the completion of project/maintenance documentation and specifications, invoice approval and records management requirements, risk assessments, business cases and Council reports.
- Undertake and review building condition audits to identify works to be included in future capital works programs.
- Document and prepare cost estimates from capital works
- Ensure effective project management in accordance with the project management framework and report on projects, including budget, program, scope, resourcing, quality and risks.
- Prepare high quality reports and presentations, including graphics, to demonstrate design intent to support projects in grant submissions, meetings, Council, committees, forums and workshops.
- Provide assistance to the Coordinator Property Services and Maintenance Supervisor/s with budget input and contractor management
- Provide technical support to the Property Services operations team by undertaking research and investigations; Building Condition Reports and other duties in support of Strategic Asset Maintenance Management (SAMM).

**What you will bring**:

- Previous facilities maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of Australian Standards where applicable for installation and maintenance of services within a commercial environment.
- Experience in the interpretation of State, Local and Federal legislation pertaining to commercial and community facilities.
- Sound knowledge of the Building Code of Australia.
- Experience with tender preparation and assessment.
- Experience in preparing bills of quantities and specifications for building works.
- Ability to interpret plans and drawings.
- Ability to supervise contractors, manage small maintenance projects and keep them on budget and on time.
- Possession of Current C Class Drivers Licence.
- Possession of White card or equivalent.
- Able to obtain a National Police Clearance
