Where the team fits in
The Specialist Sales team is responsible for driving growth of subscriptions and SaaS solutions for our Residential customers using
You will be the sales expert working in a cross functional team known as a HIVE which consists of members who manage Relationships, Success and Support.
When you join the Specialist Sales team within the Customer Group you join a wider group of folk representing product, IT, sales and marketing, supported by PR, communications, HR, finance, legal - all the people you need to create products our consumers love and customers value.

What the role is all about
- Partner with the Relationship Manager as well as work independently to identify the right customers to target for premium subscriptions and other growth solution products.
- Specialist in being able to parachute in, build rapport effectively, understand customer needs correctly & quickly, and close opportunities efficiently.
- Expert in pipeline management - seek out new revenue while also converting identified opportunities from your Hive team or marketing programs.
- Work collaboratively with the Hive team and other specialist sales teams to ensure customer experience and whole view of customer is considered when doing a deal.
- Understand competitive landscape and point of differentiation to sell the right solution.
- Assist in the execution of growth incentives.
Who we’re looking for
- Someone who can build, manage and efficiently convert their own pipeline of opportunities within Salesforce
- Someome with a proven track record of business development and sales skills - We are looking for hunters who chase targets
- You will know the importance of building relationships fast with internal stakeholders as well as customers
- You will be a team player, no role is more important than the other in the Hive.
- Any experience in SaaS is desirable
- Knowledge of property and marketing methods helpful
- Advertising and online experience highly desirable
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Previous use of CRM systems
- Looks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens
- Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment - #gsd (urban dictionary will help on this one)
