**Your new role**

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations that drive the implementation of its product roadmaps ensuring it meets user requirements. This dynamic position operates within the Senior Responsible Officer Model, working closely with the Product Manager and a dedicated Project Manager, Project Management Office, Change Management Office and Technology teams (data delivery teams, data architects, data stewards, data engineers and BI developers etc.), as well as business owners to develop this project, in line with business needs. This position is fast-paced and varied, requiring a high degree of initiative and leadership.

The Product Owner will be required to,
- Undertake a data-driven needs assessment, which will involve analysing market and/or user research, feedback, expert opinion and usage of data to understand needs and opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of current and future needs of our stakeholders.
- Work in close collaboration with the Product Manager to execute on our long-term roadmap.
- Refine the product’s vision, objectives, and features in collaboration with stakeholders and users.
- Diligently and proficiently capture and summarize stakeholder needs and goals in clear and concise themes, epics, and user stories.
- Maintain the user stories in a prioritised backlog and effectively divide overall project goals into prioritised deliverables for sequential and focused progress ensuring consultation with users.
- Development of data-infused user experience design in the form of wireframes and mock-ups, incorporating data insights for stakeholder validation and execution by the team.
- Collaboration with data experts, including working closely with a delivery team of Data Architects, Data Engineers, BI developers, and Analysts to design and produce products in order to deliver sprint outcomes.
- Review data products, such as reviewing of data models, engineering outcomes for business conformity, data quality and maintenance.
- Take business ownership for data models to ensure that data products align to business requirements as well as ease of use for any downstream business reporting, dashboarding or advance analytics requirements.
- Facilitate the successful conduct of user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with appropriate internal teams on product launch communication, training and enablement, and ongoing product adoption tactics.
- Plan and deliver change management activities to support the accelerated adoption of the developed product.
- Identify and manage risks and issues impacting the product.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- We are seeking an individual with the following skills, capabilities and experience:

- 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or Scrum.
- Experience with effective planning and the ability to contribute to tactical and strategic planning in support of a business plan.- Certification/s in Scrum or Agile.- Experience as a Product Owner or similar role managing the requirements for a team of Data Engineers and BI developers delivering actionable insights via Data products.
- Demonstrated experience in working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience using user-story and task management tool (such as MS DevOps or others).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Certification/s in Scrum or Agile will be a plus.
