BESIX Watpac are looking for an Estimating Coordinator to join our NSW business. Working in our Sydney CBD Offices this is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to join a global business who can offer extensive mentoring, training and personal development. Estimating commercial projects up to $500M the key responsibilities of this role include:

- Proactively drive company safety policies, practices and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
- Perform a key role within the tender/cost planning team, by assisting the Estimators & Cost Planners to ensure that all aspects relating to resources and costs have been considered. And from time to time undertake this role as required.
- Utilisation of industry software to present cost plans and tenders in a clear and concise format as required, and to assist the Estimators & Cost Planners to undertake the same
- Assist the Estimators & Cost Planners in the preparation of tenders on the basis of D&C, GMP, Turnkey and other forms of contract. And from time to time undertake this role as required.
- Assist the team in negotiating tenders, conditions, etc.
- Collation of cost data directly from industry suppliers, subcontractors and completed projects.
- Monitor project costs and provide cost alternatives as required.
- Formulate programme for co-ordination and integration during business flow tasks

**Qualifications**:
The ideal incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience
- Degree in a relevant discipline preferably with minor experience in cost planning/estimating experience.
- Foundation understanding of industry construction techniques and entry level skills in industry software.
- Ability to communicate and build effective relationships at all levels of the external and internal business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision making skills.
- Demonstrated development of productive relationships with colleagues and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability of high level of professionalism, maturity and candour in daily work ethic.
