**Join our Transaction Liability Team as an Underwriting Assistant**
This is an excellent entry point into the world of transaction liability and M&A insurance. As an Underwriting Assistant, you’ll work closely with senior underwriters and gain valuable exposure to complex M&A transactions. You’ll support key administrative and operational processes that ensure a smooth and effective underwriting function.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assisting underwriters in the end-to-end management of transaction liability risks
- Preparing and issuing policy documents, endorsements, and other documentation
- Managing and maintaining underwriting files and data entry in internal systems
- Coordinating with brokers, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely responses
- Supporting the team with reporting, compliance, and operational tasks
- Helping with internal research and contributing to presentations and team projects
- Providing global support across multiple regions, ensuring consistent and efficient service delivery to stakeholders worldwide
**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
- You have 1+ years of experience in an administrative, support, or coordination role—ideally within insurance, professional services, or financial services;
- You’re highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines;
- You’re a clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal;
- You’re confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable working with internal systems and databases;
- You’re a proactive team player who’s eager to learn, support others, and grow within a high-performing team; and
- You’re interested in building a career in insurance and excited by the world of M&A.
