Building Maintenance Officer required for short-term assignment just 10 minutes from Perth's CBD.

Hays are looking for a Building Maintenance Officer for a short term contract with a Local Government in Perth's Western suburbs.

**Your new role**

Your primary responsibilities will be undertaking Maintenance projects, and visiting site to conduct inspections and reports. Other responsibilities include:

- Planning for programmed building maintenance programs, ensuring all activities align with the Town's standards and requirements
- Implement preventative maintenance programs ensuring all statutory service examinations are compliant
- Coordinating the receipting, processing and follow-up of building service requests
- OHS induction and reporting to contractors
- Supervision of contractors working on site during and outside normal working hours as required, ensuring high quality is maintained and cost and time meet the agreed requirements
- Maintain and update Building Management and Asset Management systems, registers and governance documents (including workers' compensation certificates of currency, public liability insurance and Company Safety Management Plans)
- Undertake Maintenance projects as required

To be successful in this role you will need demonstrated experience in relevant building maintenance activities, facility management and management of contractors in relation to building maintenance.
