**About the role**
A a site based Building Maintenance Supervisor, you are involved in the maintenance of installed buildings throughout the Perth metropolitan area and regional localities. This position will handle miscellaneous building works performing a range of manual labour tasks and will require interaction with building owners and/or stakeholders. This role aids the Fleetwood Operations and Project Management team. This role requires you to use initiative, have the flexibility to switch between jobs, have a positive attitude towards teamwork and receive and action verbal and written instructions.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Liaising with Fleetwood Operations and Project Management, to identify and priorities maintenance work across a range of residential and commercial projects
- If required, engaging, coordinating, and managing trades and subcontractors to complete the works
- Performing building maintenance works across a variety of trade skills
- Relieving Site Supervisors from time to time as required
- Collation and preparation of materials and equipment required for maintenance tasks, for despatch to offsite destination
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite

**The successful applicant will preferably have a trade background and will demonstrate**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in building/construction as a Maintenance Supervisor
- Trade Qualification - Carpentry preferred
- White Card
- Valid Australian driver’s license
- Comprehensive understanding of the building industry
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards / Regulations and other applicable legislations and construction techniques
- Excellent understanding of all safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures, regulations and legislation
- Ability to lead by example on safety matters
- High level interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
