- Media Relations experience ESSENTIAL

**Public Sector People (PSP) **are currently looking to speak to an experienced Media & Communications Officer
***to join a Local Government on temporary, full time basis for an initial 3 month period.
- **_ASAP contract for 3 months with potential to extend_**:

- **_$50 p/h + super_**:

- **_38 hours week_**:

- **_Council based in Melbourne's west_**:

- **_Flexible working arrangements_**

**Media & Communications Officer**
- Tertiary qualification in public relations, journalism, marketing and/or communications (or a related discipline) with some relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications with extensive relevant experience.
- Competency in social media and digital platforms
- Demonstrated ability and experience in the development and implementation of creative marketing materials and strategies, across diverse mediums
- Proven experience providing high level Media relations and Communications advice within political environment
- Understanding of Local Government or political working environment advantageous
