Want to work for a fast-growing and market-leading start-up? We are currently looking for a **Business Support Officer** to dynamically help both operations and sales teams in, growing & maintaining existing accounts, as well as assisting with other project-based opportunities.
Reporting to the **Business Support Manager**, you will help set customers, both buyers & suppliers, up for success on the platform. You will also be responsible for undertaking a number of unique projects over the phone that will help different departments of the business such as sales & operations. Your Responsibilities*
- Finding new business through setting appointments with potential customers, both buyers & suppliers, for senior sales reps to attend.
- Reaching out to existing customers to build relationships & ensure retention rates are high.
- Dynamically assisting with new projects as they arise whether this is with operations or sales, you will be able to use your relationship-building skills to help the company in a unique capacity.
- Report on the success of your projects & clearly define ways they can be improved.
**Requirements**:
- This role suits graduates but some customer service and/or sales experience will be looked upon favourably.
- You are adaptable and feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment, we are a start-up always looking to better our current processes.
- You are a clear, concise and open communicator, especially over the phone. This role is all about dealing with people so you need strong written and verbal communication.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships.
- You enjoy variety & doing something different every day.
- You are extremely organised, love having a schedule and ticking off to-do lists.
- You are friendly, courteous and passionate about working with others, including our customers.
- You keep yourself accountable. We're a growing team in a dynamic start-up, so you'll need to be independent and fully own your tasks while we support your learning curve.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
