JDP have partnered up with a full-service PR, communications and digital start-up agency who is looking to expand their presence in Melbourne. Built from big players in the PR agency game, who made the move out of renowned agencies to make their own mark.

They have a broad portfolio of clients across B2B, B2C including NFP, health, travel, tourism, food & beverage and more.

Firing up their Melbourne team, they're looking to bring on a PR Account Manager in a newly created role.

**Your new role**
We are looking for an ambitious, fired up and passionate PR specialist to join a growing team of creative minds.
- Work collaboratively with the business to deliver high quality public relations, media and integrated communications strategies for clients
- Proactively source and pitch media opportunities within the right network
- Contribute high level of copy and engaging press releases and media articles
- Oversee content from a social media perspective to integrate campaigns across a mix of channels
- Provide leadership and mentorship to more junior members of the team including Account Managers and Account Executives

As a member of the newly created Melbourne team; your role will play an important part in shaping the business here

**About you**
- Strategic mindset with hands on capabilities across executing public relations, media and integrated communications
- You’re a writer - you can write for press releases, media releases and effective content
- Knowledge and experience across the media landscape, you know how to pitch to the right media outlets
- You’re a people person - customer service comes naturally, you know how to manage clients and ensure maximum satisfaction
- You are autonomous, self-driven and motivated in a start-up environment
- Experience across leadership and mentoring, you know how to support junior team members and play a part in their learning and development
- You know agency world and you have 3+ years’ experience within a creative agency
