As the business continues to grow, Vannella Cheese is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Supply and Distribution Manager** to oversee and optimise its logistics, inventory, and delivery operations. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the seamless movement of goods from production to end customers, managing supplier relationships, coordinating distribution schedules, and maintaining cost-effective and timely supply chain processes.

**SCOPE OF THE ROLE**
- Managing supply chain operations end-to-end, including procurement, inventory, storage, and outbound logistics, to ensure alignment with production schedules and market demand.
- Implementing and refining systems for tracking stock levels, expiry-sensitive goods, and packaging supplies to maintain quality and reduce waste in line with Vannella’s freshness standards.
- Monitoring daily logistics and fulfilment activity to ensure all outgoing orders meet required timeframes, product handling standards, and client specifications - whether for wholesale, retail, or food service partners.
- Overseeing inventory control systems and making informed decisions on reordering, re-stocking, and order allocations using internal digital tracking tools.
- Keeping meticulous records of all procurement, stock movements, and distribution transactions to ensure audit readiness and operational transparency.
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, resolving any delivery or product quality concerns promptly to avoid production disruptions or compromise on standards.
- Collaborating closely with the production and sales teams to align supply& distribution planning with seasonal demand cycles, promotional activity, and new product launches.
- Supervising warehousing and dispatch teams, ensuring all staff follow safe food handling, storage, and shipping protocols while maintaining high efficiency.
- Analysing logistics trends and reviewing market intelligence, using data to refine delivery strategies, reduce lead times, and enhance the overall customer experience.

**TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 2-3 years’ experience in food manufacturing or a similar industry
- Knowledge of WHS and HACCP standards
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Proficient in inventory and logistics systems
- Willingness to relocate to Sydney if based elsewhere
