Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead and support our front-of-house team. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, upholding service standards, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage business phone calls and reservations professionally during operating hours.
  • Lead and support front-of-house staff to ensure outstanding customer service and smooth team performance.
  • Collaborate with the management team to meet sales targets and drive operational excellence.
  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Monitor food and beverage presentation and quality throughout service.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Provide input on menu development and identify opportunities for service improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or Supervisor in a busy venue.
  • Current NSW Liquor and Gaming Licence is preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Professional appearance, positive attitude, and keen attention to detail.
  • Passion for food, hospitality, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Sushi-making experience is highly regarded.
