Description

  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods.
  • Manage inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to streamline supply chain operations.
  • Monitor and track shipments, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement processes.
  • Assist in resolving any supply chain issues or discrepancies efficiently.

Profile

A successful Supply Chain Coordinator should have:

  • Experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally within the retail industry.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and suggest improvements.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimisation.
