A bit about your role

A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Field Resource Planner, reporting to the Workforce Planning Manager, where you will be responsible for creating and managing accurate Weekly and Monthly Field Workforce Plans across nbn’s Internal and External Workforces.

In your new role as the Field Resource Planner, you will be expected to influence their Plan Accuracy by providing feedback to the Forecasting Team around Demand variances and the Short-Term Planning team around task durations.

You will be required to build strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders such as the Service Delivery Partners(SDP) and the Area Managers. This includes identifying resource challenges, skill shortages and implementing mitigating strategies to ensure Customer Demand and SLAs are achieved.

As the Field Resource Planner, you will also be accountable for the daily monitoring and oversight of one or more of the following key processes: Managing the monthly Demand Management and Forecasting process, assessing SDP Commitments, and facilitating negotiations with the SDP to ensure Forecast Demand is met across various Dispatch Regions.

You will also play an effective role in collaborating cross functionally with the Forecasting team to deliver to a high forecast accuracy for the demand management process

You’ll be a member of a collaborative team, where you will contribute to, positively support and be part of a high-performance team culture to successfully deliver on the nbn and team purpose, strategy, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

A bit about you

To be successful in this role, you will bring experience in a planning role and have a good understanding of Forecasting methodologies.

This role will also require a strong understanding of workforce planning principles and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Moreover, you will have problem solving, advanced excel skill, good decision-making skills and an analytical mindset.
