**About the role**
We’re seeking an Aboriginal Project Coordinator to drive impactful Aboriginal education and engagement projects across TAFE NSW. In this Aboriginal-identified role, you’ll support the delivery of strategic initiatives such as the TAFE NSW Reconciliation Action Plan by coordinating meaningful projects that contribute to improved outcomes for Aboriginal students. You’ll work closely with internal teams, Aboriginal communities, and external partners to identify opportunities, manage progress, and ensure cultural integrity in all project work.
**About You**
You are a proud Aboriginal person with a deep understanding of Aboriginal cultures and communities. You bring proven experience in project coordination, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, along with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences. With a relevant qualification or equivalent experience, you’re skilled at translating ideas into action and navigating complex environments to get results. Your cultural insight, organisational strengths, and commitment to inclusive practices make you a trusted collaborator and a strong advocate for Aboriginal education. A valid Working with Children Check and driver’s licence are required.
**To succeed in this role, you will have**:
- Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Proven ability to engage with Aboriginal organisations, communities and individuals to foster productive and harmonious working relationships
- Class C driver’s licence with the capacity to travel for TAFE NSW business purposes as required.
