**About the role**
Join our team as the Duty Manager at Oceanic Bar and Grill in the vibrant coastal city of Mandurah, WA. As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our bustling and popular restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for our guests. **What you'll be doing**
- Manage the daily operations of the restaurant
- Provide exceptional leadership and mentorship to the front-of-house team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure the highest standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service
- Implement and maintain effective systems and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance the dining experience and menu offerings
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

**What we're looking for**
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Duty Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
- An Approved Managers red card is essential plus current police clearance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Thorough understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and cost control
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations in the hospitality industry
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
