The Quality Assurance and Risk Team Leader is responsible for planning, managing, and conducting quality assurance, risk and governance activities that meet the Contact Centre Branch’s objectives and actively promote continual improvement.

**Your new role**
Team Leader management responsibilities include the setting of Branch and team priorities, managing team performance, managing workflows, and ensuring work processes are designed, implemented, and functioning as intended with effective and efficient controls in place to manage risk and ensure programs are delivered in accordance with their requirements.

Responsibilities may include:

- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of and ensure compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks
- Ensure quality outputs for the team including the development of specialist, professional and/or technical expertise.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, including anticipating and responding to stakeholder needs. Manage relationships with external agencies and external stakeholders and facilitate cross-agency or multi-agency planning of program delivery
- Perform independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant program activities and/or project milestones
- Interpret, draft and review policy and procedural directions within specialist area

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in project management or risk and quality assurance related activities
- Demonstrated experience working with contact centres leading and supporting small to medium sized teams
- An industry approved tertiary qualification in quality management, risk management and / or corporate governance is desirable
- Possess excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders
- Have a thorough understanding of employment services policies and programs
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, reports, legislation, and other information.
- Demonstrated capacity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the ability to manage changing priorities, forward plan and meet deadlines
- Must be an Australian Citizen and willing to obtain a current National Police Check
