**The Role**

IAG has an exciting opportunity to join our SME Direct Claims team based in Adelaide, on a permanent full-time basis. The Claims Consultant position would suit someone who thrives in a high paced, customer focused environment and enjoys working with people. The primary purpose of the Claims Consultant role is to lodge and manage end to end Business Property or Motor claims, within an expected delivery time while exceeding customers' expectations.

**Immediate Start. **Monday - Friday 7:00am-7:00pm rotating roster.

**Training**: Virtual training will begin from the start date. Monday to Friday, standard business hours. We do require your commitment to the full-time training.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage end to end claims in accordance with service level targets.
- Liaise with all relevant parties, while providing regular updates on the progress of claims.
- Perform coverage evaluation, investigation and collate relevant documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with all stakeholders.

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience in a customer centred role (essential)
- Previous experience managing claims (desirable)
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and clear and professional communicator
- Ability to build rapport and establish relationships
- Displays a drive for results and are outcome focused
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
