 
						Claims Consultant

Duties will include:
- Assessment of claims to determination
- Review claims to ensure entitlements are appropriate in accordance with LGIPF guidelines
- Collaborate with the injured worker, their employer and health professionals
- Attend and participate in claim reviews or other employer engagement as necessary
- Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to ensure sustainable return to work outcomes are facilitated
- Facilitate payment of compensation benefits
- Implement ongoing review of claim management strategies
The ideal applicant will have the following skills & experience:
- Experience in Workers compensation, Personal Injury or Accident & Health claims
- Claims Management skills
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- A professional communicator able to articulate decisions clearly
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to build relationships within the Local Government sector
- Excellent time management and able to prioritise workloads
