Join one of the largest Insurance Broking Agencies claims team with opportunities to learn and grow your career located on the outskirts of the CBD.

**The role: Junior Claims Consultant**:

- Assist the Claims Manager to effectively and pro-actively manage claims and claims service delivery
- Assist clients lodging insurance claims
- Follow up clients, underwriters and assessors to ensure claims progress and are settled quickly
- Keeping up-to-date with clients on the status or progress of their claim
- Deliver outstanding excellence in customer service
- Ensure the organisation's service guarantee and time standards are adhered to

**Key requirements**:

- Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualifications or Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) desirable, but not essential
- Claims processing experience
- Residential and Commercial insurance experience and knowledge
- Experience working with a broking or underwriting operation
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Superior time management skills
- Experience interpreting legislation and insurance policies
- High attention to detail
