The JPL Group is the largest specialty jewellery retail chain in Australia; including iconic brands - Prouds The Jewellers, Angus & Coote and Goldmark, with 460 privately owned and operated stores employing some 4,000 Team Members nationwide.
The Opportunity
- Have you enjoyed at least 8 years in HR, with experience in a Business Partner or equivalent role for no less than 2 years?
- Do you hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent?
- Is your experience in the fast-paced retail or hospitality industry something that can help set you up for success?
- Can you demonstrate an ability to attract and effectively onboard front-line Team Members and their leaders?
- Would your current and former colleagues confirm you are highly skilled in learning and development, including presenting to senior leaders?
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced HR professional to join our Summer Hill based team and help us to attract and retain an engaged team across Australia.
In your role as Group Human Resources Business Partner, you will assume an important role within the HR team and will contribute to effectively and efficiently develop, execute, and evolve key functions within the HR department in line with the company’s broader strategic direction.
With a primary focus on recruitment, selection, onboarding and induction; your passion for and understanding of the early stages within the employee life cycle will not only set you apart but will also set you up for success in this newly created role. Your small team will help you with the implementation and administration of all related projects and associated HR tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about Human Resources and retail. Someone who is a very good communicator, hardworking, well organised and would like to help us continue to evolve and grow our brands.
The role contributes to both short and medium-term business outcomes, while supporting the company’s organisational culture, values and fostering a high level of Team Member engagement.
Balancing the need for regulatory compliance with the goals of the company, including the education and empowerment of Managers at all levels to amplify the efforts of the dedicated HR team, will be a key to your success in this role.
