**Duties and Responsibilities**

Assist participants with personal care, healthcare and hygiene such as eating, bathing, dressing and toileting.

Assist participants to develop daily life skills, such as budgeting, shopping, cooking and management of your home.

Support participants with movement to which promote independence.

Support participants with household activities such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.

Support participants to maintain a safe environment, clean and healthy.

Assisting participants with medication management or attending medical appointments.

Support participants with social, vocational and community activities, recreation or sport.

Assisting participants to develop relationships in the wider community, including work and accessing religious/cultural ceremonies

Assisting in the development of care plans for participants.

Keeping participants records for their daily care activities and outcomes.

Any other duties necessary to give participants the most dignified service possible.

**You’ll need the following clearances and certifications**

As per NDIS guidelines, we need to have some documents on file for all staff who have direct contact with clients. Therefore, please send me the following documents:
1. Police clearance

2. DHS clearance (working with children and/or vulnerable people)

3. Certificate III certificate (Aged care work and/disability) or equivalent qualification

4. Driver’s Licence and own car

5. Comprehensive car insurance

6. First aid certificate

7. NDIS Worker Orientation Module

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

- Flexible hours
