**About the Team**
The **Commercial Performance Team** at EnergyAustralia plays a critical role in driving customer and commercial outcomes by designing and delivering compelling customer value propositions. The team ensures a holistic, data-driven approach to understanding customer needs and aligning them with business goals. By integrating customer insights, market research, and business performance data, the team helps develop targeted products, offers, and experiences that support customer engagement, retention, and EnergyAustralia’s broader goals.

**About the Role**
Reporting to the Commercial Performance Leader, the **Customer Propositions Lead** is accountable for bringing together customer research, insights, and business data to shape clear, customer-focused plans across key touchpoints. With a deep understanding of what matters most to our customers, they work across the business to align delivery plans around the most impactful enhancements, products, and offers, driving engagement and long-term customer value. Other aspects of the role include:

- Advocate for customer needs across the business, influencing planning, digital delivery, and execution to improve experiences across acquisition, retention, and service
- Own and develop targeted propositions for key customer segments, integrating research, behavioural insights, and market trends to create compelling, differentiated offers that address pain points and drive loyalty
- Lead the development of holistic strategies for customer segments, ensuring each has a clear path for engagement and profitable growth
- Collaborate with strategy and analytics teams to understand customer value models, retention trends, and price sensitivity, turning insights into actionable plans
- Build data-backed business cases for proposition enhancements and customer journey improvements, ensuring investments are aligned with measurable outcomes

**About You**
To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in a similar proposition lead role, with a strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to lead the development and management of customer personas /segmentation. Other things we’re keen on include:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent career experience
- Proactive and focused on delivering outcomes, even in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong ability to engage, influence, and motivate teams and colleagues across all levels
- Skilled at turning data into clear insights and actionable plans
- Confident managing competing demands, with the judgment to pause or redirect work when needed
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity with conceptual and lateral thinking to solve complex problems
- Effectively manages multiple projects and deadlines without compromising on quality or impact
