**The role**

We are seeking a proactive individual who is passionate about mining equipment maintenance, repairs and overhauls. This role focus is to provide expert advice for Sandvik’s repair services for crushers. Additionally, this role is responsible to drive continuous improvement initiatives for products and our Customer’s practices and process.

Our repair business is growing and we are looking to develop new services and procedures, this role will lead the changes required to support this growth, ensuring high quality and efficiency.

This role is a full-time position, however Sandvik recognises the desire for flexible working options.

**Areas of responsibility**
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to internal and external customers about equipment condition, repairs scope, final assembly procedure and testing.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvement initiatives for products and repair procedures based on customer feedback, best practices and lessons learnt.
- Ensure that repairs are completed as per Sandvik specifications and AU/NZ relevant standards.
- Develop technical documentation and procedures for the repair business.
- Inspect equipment to be repaired and assess the condition.
- Prepare repair scopes based on condition reports and Sandvik specifications.
- Provide instructions to vendor to complete repairs, revise and approve repair documentation provided by external vendors.
- Prepare repair documentation to be presented to customers.

**Your profile**

We are looking for someone with maintenance experience of mining and construction equipment, metal fabrication we focus on meeting Customers’ expectations with the ability to build relationships at all stakeholder levels. You will have the ability to utilise assigned resources and networks to achieve or exceed planned outcomes, in addition a high focus on achieving those outcomes to drive results.

You have deep understanding of repair and assembly procedures and advance computer skills with Microsoft tools such as Excel, Projects, PowerPoint, Word, and Access and CAD tools like AutoCad and Inventor.

You have a strong Customer focus, problem solving skills with the ability to operate independently and without close supervision. Engineering background in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Trade Certificate is a requirement for this role, while onsite commissioning and fixed plant maintenance experience will be highly regarded.
