**The Role**
The Directorate of Land Intelligence, Surveillance Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare is seeking a motivated and talented team member to perform and achieve complex scientific or technical research and analysis work within an integrated workforce.

As an APS 5 Technical Intelligence Analyst you will:
- Be responsible for the creation of theatre based Intelligence Vets (INTVETs) using current Threat Matrices provided by the Non-Conventional Threats Section of the Defence Intelligence Organisation (DIO).
- Coordinate defence wide Request for Information (RFI’s) to support the production of Mission fills.
- Undertake specialist technical intelligence research and analysis, conduct reviews and investigations to prepare complex technical briefs and intelligence assessments.
- Coordinate and contribute to the work of a team consistent to a work plan and provide advice and assistance on methods of task completion to team members.
Whilst being objective, you will have creative approaches to thinking and possess strong research skills. You will cultivate productive working relationships throughout government and with Allies.
As the APS 5 Technical Intelligence Analyst you will be required to represent Army at a number of domestic and international Counter Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) focused intelligence conferences.

The Land Countermeasures Reprogramming Cell (LCRC) is a sub unit of the Land Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare (LISREW) Program in Land Capability Division. LCRC’s mission to develop Mission Data Files and other supporting products for in-service Force Protection Electronic Countermeasures (FPECM) Systems. The team achieves this through a rigorous engineering process that relies heavy on intelligence reporting, engaging with stakeholders in Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG), Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), Defence Intelligence Organisation (DIO) and International partner nations (Five-Eyes and NATO).
As an APS5 Technical Intelligence Analyst, you will analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources, and provide clear verbal and written intelligence assessments. We are looking for someone who is eager to contribute to Australia’s national security priorities and its environment.
