Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Assistant Director Behavioural Compliance on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.
**About the Role**
The EL1 Assistant Director Behavioural Insights (Labour Hire) is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across the risk and compliance functions of the NDIA.
The position is an important team leadership position within the NDIA and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The role requires providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Supervising and leading staff in designing, implementing and evaluating behaviourally informed activities aimed at improving the integrity of the health finance system and health outcomes of Australians.
- Designing and delivering Behavioural Insights projects on time, building behavioural insights best practice design principles into program design across the Compliance Program Branch by randomised controlled trials and other empirically sound quasi-experimental interventions, combining data analytics and business insights, informing decision making and advancing the capability across the Agency.
- Driving innovation with behavioural insights, ensuring best practice is incorporated into our service offer and research approach.
- Fostering supporting and actively managing key stakeholder relationships within and outside the branch.
- Coaching direct reports and team members.
- Providing advice to business areas, supporting them in developing solutions to compliance and health issues.
- Managing projects, ensuring quality outcomes are achieved and deliverables are met on time.
