**About the Role**

The Medical Secretary duties include:

- providing professional service with a commitment to excellence in patient care and politely attending to patients calling or visiting the practice;
- providing accurate and timely administration of appointments, referrals, operating list administration, clinic billing, theatre billing, debtor follow up, other clinic administrative duties;
- diligent and enthusiastic approach to work with high attention to detail, time management and multitask ability;
- providing excellent secretarial support to the specialists;
- ability to manage all patient interactions in an empathetic manner while efficiently managing the daily work requirements;
- maintains a high level of written and verbal communication skills;
- assisting with other generic administration tasks as required;
- contributing to marketing activity, such as social media posts and event coordination;
- maintaining confidentiality, patient privacy and all practice information at all times.

- 8 hour shift
