Our client is a large pharmaceutical family of Companies in Australia is recruiting for an Employee Relations Specialist/Consultant to join the Employee and Labour Relations team for contract period to provide project support across Australia and New Zealand.

This role will be hybrid - mix of work from our Ultimo office and work from home with parking available working Full-time (38 hours per week),

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Advising and managing employee relations cases, including in relation to disciplinary matters, performance management and grievances
- Reviewing and updating employee relations policies to ensure compliance and alignment with legislative changes
- Drafting and reviewing employment documentation
- Assist with workplace investigations for a range of matters
- Supporting employee and labour relations project work including in relation to risk management, compliance and process improvement

**Experience and Skills**:

- Relevant qualifications in Industrial Relations, Law, Commerce
- 2-3 years of HR or Employee Relations experience within Australia and/or New Zealand
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and Modern Award system

**Required**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Previous experience in employee relations in a common law jurisdiction is desirable
- Legal interpretation skills highly desirable
- Experience or understanding of the NZ employee relations framework would be highly beneficial
