**About the Opportunity**:
You will also be involved in helping to generate new leads as new customers call through, ensuring all details are passed on to the relevant team accurately and in a timely manner.
**A day in the life of a Customer Service Executive at Shorty’s...**
- Identify and resolve customer issues/concerns promptly. Deliver a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
- Ensure communication is appropriate, clear and covers all necessary information.
- Actively promote a positive and supportive culture within the business. Maintain a friendly and positive manner across all touch points providing a consistent customer experience.
- Manage New Business leads and enquiries identifying potential opportunities and makes recommendations on how to proceed
- Accurately quote for events and functions to maximise GP and limit returns.
- Attention to Detail:
- Maintain and update customer records within the prescribed tools & software as needed and update all user manuals.
- Facilitate credit card transactions.
- Order processing with accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Process credit notes promptly to avoid stock discrepancies.

- Immediate updates of important customer information. Advise purchasing manager immediately of out of stocks, delivery or new product requests.
**What you’ll need to succeed**:
- Confident communicator - both verbal and written.
- Previously worked in an office environment.
- Ability to learn software programs quickly.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Eager to learn and looking for career progression
