Our opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Group HSE Manager, Strategy Governance & Program Management to join our Sydney (or Melbourne) offices. In this national focused role, reporting to the Group General Manager for HSE, you will be responsible for overseeing Mirvac’s HSE strategic plan, change programs, and corporate HSE governance to ensure alignment with business objectives and contemporary practice.
This role plays a critical part in shaping the organisations long-term HSE vision, engaging with senior leaders, managing Group wide HSE programs, and ensuring the HSE program is aligned to the property lifecycle and business process.
**Your responsibilities will include and are not limited to**:
Govern the delivery of the HSE strategy and program manage multiple streams of work to ensure alignment, integration, and on-time delivery with seamless change management
Provide strategic guidance on emerging risks, opportunities, and leading practice associated with the HSE strategy and its objectives
Own, lead and drive initiatives to support the overall HSE transformation with an emphasis on major hazards, chronic unease, and complexity factors
Establish and lead regular governance forums with business unit stakeholders to monitor and track progress of key strategic initiatives to maintain alignment and sponsorship for change
Lead the development and preparation of Executive and Board papers including the identification of insights, trends, and recommendations. Present papers to management, executive, and Board as required. Identify opportunities to evolve and further enhance Executive and Board reporting.
Your point of difference
To be successful you will be suitably qualified with a track record in a strategic HSE role within a corporate enterprise or group wide environment, ideally in Property, Construction or Asset Management industries.
You will have well developed program and project management and have executed on delivering similar HSE initiatives; as well as demonstrated experience producing high quality Executive and Board papers.
You will have strong stakeholder skills and conflict resolution experience in project and people management, and have the ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and complexity and drive win-win outcomes.
