**The Role**

Reporting to the HSE Operations Manager, you will independently manage the HSE Management System for your assigned projects, providing critical advice and guidance to our operational team and contractors. Your leadership will drive the implementation and cultivation of a robust safety culture guided by our One HSE Culture Framework. Responsibilities include;
- Leading and mentoring Operational Teams, focusing on best practices for risk mitigation
- Development of management plans, risk registers, SWMS
- Partner with Projects to deliver initiatives and onboard contractors
- Undertake in-field inspections and audits
- Investigate HSE incidents
- Serve as the primary HSE contact for the client, ensuring compliance and standards are met during audits
- Ensure reporting requirements are met

**About you**
- Diploma in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or similar
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a high-risk industry
- Internal/Lead Auditors qualification
- Lead Investigator i.e. ICAM/RCA
- Construction White Card
- Australian C class driver's license
