**About the role**

News Corp Australia is looking for a highly experienced and well skilled individual to step into this pivotal position as the General Manager of Consumer Data, Platforms & Growth. Reporting to the Managing Director of Tech Partnerships & Subscriptions, you will be responsible for **driving growth in our digital subscription business** by leading News Corp Australia’s Consumer Platforms, Data Strategy, Engagement and Operations, overseeing a team of six senior managers and a total team of 40+.

**Role responsibilities**
- ** Paywall and Platforms**: Responsible for the evolution and optimisation of consumer paywalls and platforms to enable growth.
- ** Data**:Be the enterprise owner of consumer data to positively influence subscriber behaviour for growth. Responsible for definitions, execution and insights produced to the highest standard and consistency across the enterprise.
- ** Intelligence**:Responsible for the production of value generating audience and product insights. Building on consumption and audience data, historic trends and market variations.
- ** Customer lifecycle management and engagement**: Responsible for in life management of consumer subscriptions to build early habits and reduce churn.
- ** Marketing Operations**: Responsible for the daily operations and technical delivery of various CRM and CMS functions.
- ** Consumer Team Operations**: Responsible for the operations of ~40+ team, including internal team operations and graduate program (Talent Acceleration Program) Balancing long term planning and operations with daily requirements and resourcing.

**About you**
- University or Post Graduate (Masters Degree) in business, economics, marketing or other related
- An experienced leader with over 15 years of adapting leadership style to optimise people and performance outcomes, providing guidance on work-related systems and challenges.
- Strong commercial acumen with a perfect balance of quantitative analytical skills and exceptional relationship development and emotional quotient abilities.
- Proven expertise in action planning, with the ability to develop appropriate plans and execute necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
- Demonstrated organisational authority in planning, organising, and prioritising activities to efficiently achieve business objectives.
- Adept at creating relevant, lucid, and effective insights as the organisational authority in consumer intelligence.
- Skilled in strategic planning, using your expertise to drive the organisation's long-term goals.
- Negotiation prowess as an established expert, enabling you to obtain consensus between internal and external parties with different interests.
- Proficient in project management, leading and delivering projects and/or programs within desired cost, time, and quality parameters.
