Our client is a
**leading** producer and manufacturer for the retail markets who specialises in Ready to Eat Poultry Products.

APG Workforce are currently seeking a
**Maintenance Supervisor** to oversee the sites operational functions.

**The Role**:

- Day Shift role - 5am to 6am starts
- Looking after a small team
- MEX use
- Preventative Maintenance

The position of Plant Maintenance Supervisor is primarily responsible for the budgeting, planning and implementation of all preventative and emergency maintenance and procurement and installation of plant & equipment.

**Essential Qualifications / Licenses**
- Structured leadership training including conflict resolution and problem solving.
- Extensive experience, preferably in management, in all facets of maintenance of an intensive food processing plant or similar.
- Structured training in all facets of WHS including contractor management.
- Trade qualifications in a related discipline.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management or equivalent.

**Critical Skills and Experience Required**
- Knowledge of food processing industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral & written.
- Ability to make quick and correct decisions “on the job” and throughout a production day.
- Ability to set-up plant and equipment to achieve efficiency targets set for plant and equipment operation.
- Ability to use hard copy and computer-based maintenance schedules on a weekly, daily and hourly basis.
- Excellent planning skills particularly in relation to control of a maintenance workforce through a daily
- production process which overlaps several shifts.
- Good project management skills particularly in relation to one-off issues or concerns that require a prompt response or immediate action.
