Maxima and the Local Government Association (LGA) of South Australia are on the lookout for a customer service superstar to undertake a full-time traineeship as a Customer Service Officer.

The Local Government Association (LGA) of South Australia are the overarching organisation who support and promote the work that local councils undertake. The LGA assists local communities by ensuring that proposed policies result in positive outcomes, provide additional training to council staff, and recruit talented council members.

This diverse, 18-month opportunity will see you working within a professional environment, ensuring that all visitors receive exceptional customer service when they arrive. In this front of house role, you can expect to become a guru in all administrative tasks as you receive practical experience, and study towards a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Business.**

**Duties Include**:

- Welcome customers in a friendly manner
- Follow-up enquiries in-person and over phone
- Organise staff travel, accommodation, and meeting bookings
- Data entry
- Maintain office supplies, ordering where required
- Additional administrative duties, including minute taking and tidying

**Skills & Qualities**:

- Great interpersonal skills, written and verbal
- Prides themselves on having an eye for detail
- Thrives working within a team environment
- Highly organised and can manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to remain calm under pressure

**Role Requirements**:

- Current driver’s licence and access to reliable vehicle (desirable)
- Previous customer service experience
- Working knowledge of technology and programs, including Microsoft Office
