George & Matilda Eyecare has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time, HR Business Partner to join our team based in the heart of North Sydney (this is a hybrid role with up to 2 days a week from home). You will play a crucial role in supporting our HR Team with a broad range of people initiatives across the HR spectrum, and support in our QLD and TAS practices. This is a great role for someone who has studied Business/HR and been working in a HR Advisor or Business Partner role. Our flat structure and open office means senior, experienced business mentors are only a coffee away and always more than happy to answer questions you may have.

**What you’ll be doing...**

- Drive the recruitment strategy for both support and operational functions
- Advise on remuneration and benefits strategies
- Advise Regional and Practice Managers on how to handle employee relations issues and ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Implement, manage and co coordinate HR Strategies, projects, and processes to support and improve business performance
- Leverage data and analytics to inform and drive effective HR decision-making
- Play a crucial role in WHS initiatives throughout the business
- Experience in HR systems (Employment Hero) to ensure accurate records and smooth HR operations.

**What you will bring to the role**

- 4+ years HR Business Partner and Recruitment experience
- Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to build strong relationships while managing expectations within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Highly motived, self-driven, with great attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Retail industry experience is desired.
