**About the role**

GrainCorp's Accounts Payable team within Shared Services provides an essential service to a wide range of internal customers and external stakeholders. We're seeking the support of an experienced AP professional to join this team in a permanent position.

Reporting to our Accounts Payable Manager and joining a friendly team, you will:

- Ensure that incoming invoices are received and routed to the appropriate Accounts Payable system
- Process invoices accurately and timely in accordance with company policies, to meet agreed payment terms
- Comply with GST legislation requirements and the company’s financial delegations’ matrix
- Reconciliation of supplier statements and follow up appropriately
- Handle AP queries, processing and issues as required and directed
- Creating system generated payment files, scheduling manual payments as required, and ensuring successful completion of payments
- Reporting and monitoring of key AP performance indicators in order to track progress of initiatives
- Identify areas of improvement and recommend process initiatives within Accounts Payable

**About your experience**
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent customer service via both written and verbal communication
- Good problem solving, analytical and collaboration skills
- Results focused and able to work through challenges to achieve
- Good Excel and Word skills
- Ability to challenge the status quo with a positive / continuous improvement mindset

You should be comfortable to work autonomously and be able to prioritise and work efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding environment. You will also have above average communication skills and the ability to work with and embrace technology. Experience using SAP-based programs and/or ReadSoft would be advantageous.
