We are looking for a Facility Manager to join our team on a full time permanent basis.

You will be provided with a** **negotiable relocation package, competitive rate of pay, not-for-profit salary packaging benefits and a competent and dedicated clinical team as well as supportive leadership to work hand in hand for the betterment of the community and the residents.

**The Role**:Monday - Friday 76 hours per fortnight - **09.00 - 17.00**.**

You will be responsible for the operational leadership and management of resources to effectively and efficiently deliver services to meet the needs of residents of the aged care facility.

**Your role will incorporate**:

- Planning, control and directing the provision of a range of high quality personal, clinical care and support services that encourage and enable residents to maintain their autonomy and independence
- Managing the budgetary requirements of the facility
- Managing the smooth running of the facility on a day-to-day basis
- Leading the team and managing staff performance, recruitment and selection and building a positive culture within the team
- Ensuring all SCC policies and procedures are implemented and followed, taking a continuous improvement approach whilst adhering to all accreditation standards

**Experience & Skills**

**Essential**
- You could be either a registered nurse with extensive Aged care experience + 2+ years’ experience in a relieving leadership/supervisory role and also have ANACC experience.
- 5 years’ experience in caring for the aged or health related area
- A motivational leadership style with the ability to build a collaborative team environment
- Ability to play an active and positive role as part of our Care team, providing quality care and support to residents
- Strong numeracy skills - reconciliations, reporting, budgeting and statistics
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the needs of the elderly in a residential care setting and having the ability to connect with their families and the local community.
- Experience managing a 24/7 roster and workforce planning
- An ability to communicate effectively with internal teams within the wider company and build strong professional relationships

**Desirable**
- Sound understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation as it applies to Aged Care Facilities
- Sound understanding of, and ability to correctly apply, relevant principles of the Fair Work Act
